There are a couple of new displays in the library.
This one can help you learn some Tongan phrases...
And this one is about Conservation Week. Can you identify these New Zealand native birds?

Bookclub Starting Up
Well the Bookclub for years 5 & 6 had their first meeting of the year today (Tuesday).
The members decided to call the group - The Page Turners.
Current reads were discussed or recommended.
Jack has kindly written to Gavin Bishop and is in the process of organising an online chat with him and the bookclub for next term.
And the bookclub has registered to be book award judges for the Hell Children's Choice Book awards. Currently we have a selection of these books which members are taking home to read then exchanging for other selected titles. Voting for their choices will be next term as judging forms have to be in by May 13th.

Audio books @ The Library
Kia Ora everyone,
Here at the library Gill and my passion project last week was to bring audio books to the library.
Remember that dilapidated old CD Player that didn't work? Well with a brand new CD Player and a whole lot of CD's out of storage we now have some audio books done and ready for listening to.
Happy Listening
