Term 3 
This term we will be holding Book Club every fortnight on a Tuesday at 12 o'clock in the library.

• Kidslit Quiz will also be on at the end of the term so make sure you check the Reading List on the OPAC to read as many books as possible. This is for years 5 & 6 and you will need to have a team of 4 and a catchy team name to enter.
• We will also be celebrating the  'Wonderful world of Books' this term. To ensure everyone is reading as much as possible there will be a 'Reading Around the World' Challenge - more about this at assembly.
• And also this term we are planning to hold a Photo Competition entitled 'Get Caught Reading' which will run over the next holidays. This will give you plenty of opportunity for that imagination to get into gear to perfect that winning photo. 
• A Dress Up Book character day is also planned - more about that later.
• And 'The Lorax' is the theme for the Masked Parade.

Welcome back to Term 2. Bookclub is meeting regularly this term and are planning a number of activites including book reviews on this blog, pick of the week books, and hopefully making some book trailers.

The Bookclub is currently meeting each Tuesday lunchtime and making christmas decorations for a Christmas display. We are using pages from old broken books which the library doesn't need any more.

We have now purchased a big screen for the library and plan to run a digital story at lunchtime each week - the day is yet to be finalised but we'll keep you informed.
